About the company: This leading Federal government agency supports Australians in achieving their goals and helps them to live a better life.Their work has an impact on a significant area in the social sector, and you can contribute to the difference that they make in this role.This is a great opportunity for multiple APS6 Finance Officers to join this busy team for a long-term 6-month temporary assignment.About the role: Preparing and reviewing data and workforce for allocating to projects through WBS allocations and providing input to project forecasts.Working with business to assist with budget allocations and phasings, Agency Budget and Finance Committee (ABFC) submissions, and financial analysis.Ensuring financial record accuracy, including regular GL, cost centre, and PO review and amendment.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, implementing changes once approved, and keeping records.Supporting financial decisions and the budget process and assisting with project delivery within the portfolio/branch.Performing end-of-month reporting activities, including journals preparation, transaction analysis, and reports production. About you: You will have experience working with large volumes of financial data.You will have excellent attention to detail skills.You will have strong analytical skills.You will have previous experience working with SAP.You will have strong written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
