The Position
We have opportunities for Senior Electrical Project Engineers to join our team in Western Australia due to continued growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
* Managing on-site engineering functions, including Project Engineers and/or Cost/Planning Engineers
* Monitoring project compliance to industry codes and practices, quality assurance policies and performance standards
* Interfacing with clients, engaging on work packages, addressing technical queries and overseeing engineering
* Identifying and resolving scope discrepancies, providing technical support and managing scope change control
* Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategies
* Supporting the Area Manager in preparing accurate monthly reports
* Contributing to budget planning and forecasting to ensure project completion on schedule
* Monitoring quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials, checking work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and arranging corrections or modifications where necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
* Extensive experience in delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects
* In-depth knowledge of on-site construction
* Training and experience in managing on-site safety and personnel issues
* A focus on ensuring all project aspects are performed safely
* Proven project experience and ability to work autonomously
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage project teams
What We Offer
We offer an attractive remuneration package, including a base salary plus 40% site uplift and project incentive payments. This is a permanent contract opportunity.
