Reporting to the Director, you'll oversee the clinic's operations, provide high-level administrative support, and ensure a seamless experience for clients. You will
support the activities of the UniSC Tax Clinic in providing services to eligible taxpayers;
oversee client enquiries and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders;
coordinate record-keeping and reporting for the Clinic to comply with ATO grant requirements;
liaise with UniSC Marketing and Communications regarding appropriate marketing materials and communication protocols for the Clinic;
coordinate the delivery of workshops and seminars in the community; and
contribute to a positive and safe work environment for staff and students, by modelling and promoting conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
About you
You’re a skilled communicator with exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong working relationships with people at all levels, both within the University and with external stakeholders. Your proactive approach and ability to work autonomously ensure you consistently deliver high-quality outcomes, while your drive to identify and contribute to business improvement initiatives sets you apart as a forward-thinking professional.
You will possess:
completion of a tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related field with extensive experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training;
significant organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative in a complex work environment;
well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain highly effective working relationships, including demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with staff from all levels of University and external parties;
demonstrated functional supervisory skills with the ability to show leadership and oversee the delivery of quality performance outcomes;
demonstrated ability to work autonomously to deliver quality performance outcomes and contribute to business improvement initiatives; and
proven computer literacy across a range of computer programs including the Microsoft Suite and Adobe.
