About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Lift & Escalator Technician to join our Repairs Service Team, based in Adelaide. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for completing repairs on existing customer sites and ensuring that all lifts and escalators perform to customer expectations.
This role covers both our lift and escalator products, we are looking for an individual who has demonstrated experience in dealing with the maintenance and service of both lifts and escalators.

Key accountabilities:
Carrying out repair work to restore lift/escalator to full service
Ensure that an appropriate person on site is kept informed of arrival, departure and status of the escalator
In accordance with established procedures shut down a lift or escalator which is regarded as unsafe and unable to be made to function properly
Propose material alterations where it is felt the performance of the escalator can be improved by doing so
Ensure your work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date
Depending on work requirements there is some flexibility required to be available to work overtime or on weekends.
Requirements for the role:
Electrical Trade qualification / A current electrical license
Previous experience as a Lift Service Technician or a Lift Repairs Technician will be highly regarded
A current driver's license
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
