The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and dedicated team, focussed on continuous improvement and streamlining processes.
Broadly speaking, you will be preparing:
Timely and accurate financial and management reports.
Budget and forecast reporting and analysis.
Revenue and expense data; analysis and compliance checks.
Continuous improvement of existing financial systems
Journals, accruals, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Statutory Accounts and Tax compliance
Insurance, Workers Compensation and payroll requirements
Financial data to support decision making on business cases and special projects.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates with:
An accounting degree and at least 3 years relevant experience; or
An equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience;
Communication skills that enable clear and articulate presentation of information in a meaningful and usable form.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of management,
A flexible and collaborative work manner.
Commitment to achieving targets through self-motivation and results focus; with proven ability to operate within tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
Demonstrated capability to work independently on projects of a diverse nature, while exercising initiative to complete competing work tasks.
