Job Title: Manager, Student Engagement
About the Role:
The Student Engagement Manager is a senior leader of the Oorala Centre responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight for programs and services designed to achieve equitable access, participation, and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in UNE courses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directly supervise the Student Engagement Team Leader and the Student Experience Team Leader
* Provide leadership regarding future and current student initiatives
* Report to the Director of the Oorala Aboriginal Centre
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with rich lived experience
* Senior leadership experience and a track record of fostering leadership development
* Proven ability to identify, develop, implement, and assess programs and services that align with university goals
* Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a team
* Passion and commitment to advancing educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
Salary and Benefits:
$107,371 to $124,606 per annum (HEO8)
Plus 17% employer superannuation

5 weeks annual leave plus cultural leave and Christmas week shutdown
