2. Salary MD-2 $483,021 - $630,435 (subject to private practice agreement)
3. Permanent part-time working 26.25 hours per week
About the role
4. Contribute to the provision of high quality consultative and procedural care for patients under the care of the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Unit in your role as a Specialist Consultant Gastroenterologist
5. Provide specialized input into the Unit as needed and guided by an agreed, annually reviewed job plan.
6. Contribute to collection and audit of clinical data including outcomes to participate/lead in the active (or new) clinical research within the Unit.
7. Engagement in teaching and supervisory roles for healthcare undergraduate, postgraduate students and trainee medical officers.
Qualifications
8. Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
9. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
10. FRACP in Gastroenterology (or equivalent) in area of specialty.
11. Demonstrated participation in continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification.
