Hobart Gymnastics Academy (HGA) is entering a transformative stage, with plans well underway for a new, purpose-built gymnastics facility in Bridgewater. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Academy Manager to lead our team and guide the organisation into its next chapter.
As the only accredited gymnastics provider servicing Hobart's Northern suburbs, HGA plays a vital role in our local community. We are a medium-sized, not-for-profit club with around 500 members and a dedicated team delivering programs in women's and men's artistic gymnastics, and trampoline sports.
Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations and ensure smooth delivery of gymnastics programs Manage and support a skilled team of staff and coaches Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial management Build strong relationships with stakeholders including the Board, Gymnastics Tasmania, local government, and other partners Contribute to the planning and development of the new facility Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional club culture What We're Looking For Demonstrated leadership experience in a community sport, small business, or similar setting Strong financial literacy and operational management skills Ability to inspire and support staff and volunteers Skilled communicator with the ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders Adaptable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and planning Marketing or facility management experience is a plus Why Join Us?
