DutiesDeliver general legal information and advice to clients in relation to all areas of the law and legal procedures using telephone, face-to-face, online and videoconference communication platforms.Interview clients in our Legal Help Clinic program and facilitate referrals to other services where appropriate.Provide advice and recommendations to senior staff.Undertake specific assignments in accordance with briefings.Prepare and deliver community legal education.Support Tasmania Legal Aid's service delivery priorities.Perform other legal work as directed in Tasmania Legal Aid's practice areas.Essential RequirementsAdmitted or eligible for admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the relevant federal courts.Desirable RequirementsCurrent Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.How to applyTo apply, please provide a Short Form Application which is a 1-2 page covering letter outlining your experience, skills and knowledge as they relate to the Statement of Duties, and a copy of your current Resumé/CV.
