Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Classic Recruitment is working with a family-owned and operated local business to assist them in hiring a new Operations Manager.This is a newly created role for a business that has been operating locally for over 30 years.As the Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations, with your key duties including: Managing the operations teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and effectively. Champion workplace health and safety across the organisation. Grow the business by working with current clients and fostering relationships with new clients. Assist the Director to ensure timely outcomes with any HR issues, including assisting with the recruitment of new employees within the ops team. Develop staff to assist them in growing in their careers. Manage inventory to ensure product levels are correct. To be successful you will need to: Have 3+ years in a similar leadership role. Possess strong leadership skills. Have previous experience in logistics and inventory control. Possess up-to-date knowledge of workplace health and safety. Be proficient on a computer and be comfortable using logistics software and other relevant systems. Have experience in managing people and dealing with HR issues.
