The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Operations, the IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing a number of key functions within the IT team that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users.
This position is a customer facing role, requires that you establish and manage expectations of the business and engage and drive peers within the IT team, as well as external service providers, to achieve those expectations to the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure high performing IT support functions, including Service Desk, Desktop Support, Deskside and VIP Support, through management of internal resource and external managed service providers.
Ensure maximum service availability of office devices and infrastructure, such as printers, video-conferencing equipment and wireless networks.
Ownership of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required.
Management of critical incidents.
Monitor, control, and support Business As Usual (BAU) service delivery, ensuring appropriate systems, policies and procedures are in place and followed.
Drive internal and external service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes.
Support delivery of key technology projects such as Infrastructure enhancements, Network upgrades, Hardware refreshes and Cyber-security related changes.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase the end user experience.
Provide onsite support for end user devices including laptops, tablets and company phones.
Provide deskside resolution for incidents and service requests and proactive onboarding for new starters.
About you
You will have:
Bachelor's degree in business information systems (IS), computer science, or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience.
ITIL framework training and Project Management training, such as PMI, Prince2 or Agile.
Demonstrated experience working in IT Operations as well as in a leadership role Proven experience of project management, including experience managing multiple parallel programs or projects.
Extensive experience of IT service management, service delivery and ITIL processes.
Experience building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 desktop environments, Microsoft 365 suite, Azure Active Directory administration, Exchange online and LAN infrastructure.
Prior experience implementing technology at remote locations.
Strong people skills, with an emphasis on the ability to effectively influence others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a flexible, fast moving and dynamic environment and operate with some level of ambiguity.
