Based in our Chatswood office in Sydney, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of key Cunard accounts. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager (KAM) will play a crucial role in managing a select portfolio of top-performing agents, driving sales growth, and fostering strategic relationships with high-value travel agents across Australia. You will cultivate strong relationships with Key Accounts, providing tailored support to boost sales, while developing annual business plans and conducting monthly progress reviews. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams, you'll execute campaigns, address under-performing accounts, deliver product training, and coordinate ship tours and familiarisation trips. Yes, that's a long weekend every fortnight!Offering a hybrid work model – 2 days WFH and 3 days Office.Fantastic Chatswood office location close to shops, public transport, restaurants, gyms and more!Fantastic discount on cruises, onboard product launches, airline, and Hotel discounts through our partners.Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Manage a portfolio of established key agent partners, maintaining and building long-term partnerships.Stay updated on market trends, competitor insights, and agent feedback to ensure Cunard remains a premium choice in the market.Establish and build new key account portfolios, build long-term partnerships, and open new revenue growth opportunities.In collaboration with the Commercial Sales Manager and each account, develop and deliver business plans to maximise sales and engagement.Develop and deliver regular training for product and sales staff.Help organise and deliver important trade and industry events and represent Cunard at trade conferences and consumer expos.Work closely with the Commercial Sales Manager to develop an annual Advertising and Promotional plan across accounts.Review competitor landscape and competitor activity to ensure plans are in place to deliver Cunard commercial targets.About You: You will have strong relationship management skills, with a proven ability to cultivate and sustain partnerships with key accounts. You will have experience in sales planning and execution, including developing business plans and tracking progress against growth targets. Proficient in collaborating across teams, particularly with marketing and sales, to drive successful campaigns. A solid background in delivering product training and organising events is essential. Additionally, you will be highly organized, with strong analytical skills to identify under-performing accounts and create strategic action plans. As part of a close-knit team, your willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the work done will set you apart from your competitors.To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated:5 years' experience in an Account manager role. Travel industry experience preferred but not essential.Proven experience working with external stakeholders in a customer-facing capacity.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with Salesforce and PowerBI is highly desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities, with the capability to work independently.High level of initiative, problem-solving abilities, and general administrative skills.Willingness to travel domestically as needed.We are seeking someone with the right attitude to fit into our hands-on team culture so, if you meet the above requirements, have a consultative and collaborative approach and solid work ethic, please send your resume for consideration.
