We operate within a collaborative Multidisciplinary Centre alongside Victoria Police SOCIT and Child Protection services, offering specialised care throughout Inner and Outer Gippsland.About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor Advocate to join our team. You will provide one-to-one counselling, conduct assessments, and support clients' safety, wellbeing, and recovery through short to medium-term therapeutic interventions. The role involves case management, secondary consultation, and collaboration with community partners. You'll also contribute to the development of community awareness and social inclusion programs.Key Responsibilities:Conduct client assessments and intervention planningProvide trauma-informed counselling for children, young people, and adultsMaintain accurate, confidential client files and recordsEngage in professional development and contribute to GCASA's evolving practiceWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environmentKey Selection CriteriaApplications without a Key Selection Criteria response will not be considered.
