Grampians Health Horsham is looking for an enthusiastic Reception Officer to support our Allied Health and Ambulatory Care departments.

Key Responsibilities: Reception & Clerical Support: Be the friendly face that welcomes and assists consumers, managing appointments, and waiting lists.
Customer Service: Respond to inquiries with high-level interpersonal and communication skills.
Office Management: Keep our office/clinic environments neat and organized, managing supplies and stock.
Financial Tasks: Handle fee collection, banking, and financial reconciliations with precision.
Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate medical, administrative, and financial records, supporting data entry and reporting.
Skills & Experience: Customer Service-Oriented: Previous experience in customer service, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Communicative: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Proactive: A positive work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and general administration.
Effective Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Desirable: Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical clinic administration is a plus.
