The Role
We are seeking a Senior Event Sales Manager to bring our events to life at Merivale's Stadiums (SCG & Allianz). Working with a team of sales and event professionals, you will be responsible for selling our event spaces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Convert incoming leads and drive repeat business
* Develop persuasive approaches and pitches to secure new clients
* Foster commercial and corporate partnerships between Merivale Events and external stakeholders
* Host venue tours and develop new business through networking and business development strategies
* Collaborate with Event Managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Requirements:
* 4+ years experience in Sales or business development
* Understanding and passion for the hospitality industry
* Event Management experience is desirable
* Tactical sales skills and attention to detail
* Hunger to convert business and excellent communication skills
* Influencing and stakeholder management skills
