About the role:
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services to members at the Southbank Police Station, North-West Metro Region, Division 1.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and support flexible working arrangements.
Your duties will include:
1. Provide general office support duties including the operation and maintenance of office equipment.
2. Prepare routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures.
3. Assist with the processing of lost and confiscated property.
4. Attend to telephone and counter enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
5. Experience in working with computers and various programs to perform a arrange of administrative tasks.
6. Ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records whilst meeting strict deadlines with a high attention to detail.
7. Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
8. Ability to work successfully within a team environment and work independently.
9. Display initiative and proactive work practices.
10. Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both orally and in writing.

12. Position is located at the Southbank Police Station, 211 Bank Street, South Melbourne. While positions will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.
13. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or Visa.
14. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
