Your new role As an expert, you'll design and perform tests to find and fix software defects, collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality mobile and web applications. Use your testing expertise to foster continuous improvement. You'll also be expected to : Conduct exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and edge cases. Execute thorough manual test cases to detect software defects. Document testing processes and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing. Report test outcomes, monitor defect resolution, and ensure timely closure. Keep abreast of the latest software testing tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, ISTQB). Foster a quality-focused culture within the team by advocating best practices and continuous improvement. Engage in security testing activities to identify and address vulnerabilities. What you'll need to succeed Experienced in testing browser-based solutions and APIs. Skilled in using modern automated testing frameworks and tools. Strong grasp of QA methodologies and processes. Proficient in writing clear test plans and cases. Proven track record in software quality assurance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Background in quality engineering or similar roles. Experience with coding and QA software tools. Experienced in performance testing for software scalability and stability.
