About the OPPORTUNITY: We are recruiting for a Finance (Oracle) Systems Analyst to contribute across technical and functional software product support, maintenance and development activities ensuring that our finance systems are running smoothly, meeting business needs, and evolving through enhancements and project-based initiatives.
This position can be based out of our Adelaide or Melbourne office with flexible work arrangements such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid work environment on offer. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and actively resolving production incidents and support callsActively participate in all stages of the systems implementation lifecycle, including gathering and defining user requirements, prototyping solutions, formulating designs, implementing systems, and preparing test plansTranslate business objectives and user needs into clearly written functional / technical requirementsPerform system administration and maintenance functions, including system configuration to meet a variety of business needsWork with other System Analysts supporting other major areas of the ERP suite and other business systems as directedWork with scrum master and other team members on Agile Sprint deliverablesAssist Senior analysts to drive continuous improvement of the ERP suite of systems by providing input on new processes and technology initiativesWork with team to provide peer review technical solutions and actively work with external vendors (Level 1 managed services provider and product vendors)Work with the Capability Architects and the business SMEs to operate in the direction of both support and development of the ERP capability and Roadmap.Work directly with our customers and seek input for the definition of business requirements, scoping, design and implementation.About YOU: Tertiary qualification in Finance or Science is considered desirableSound knowledge of all or any of Oracle eBusiness modules on premise or on Cloud infrastructure, with a focus in the Finance and Projects domains such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, eTax, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, iAssets, iExpenses, Labor Distribution, Payments, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Manufacturing, Sub Ledger Accounting, Webcenter Imaging Capture & FormsPrior experience working with Java is considered desirableExposure to working with Agile technology tool sets (JIRA)Excellent data, process analysis, and design skillsOracle SQL and PL/SQL experience is desirableDefence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline clearanceWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
