Training Officer Position

We’re seeking a proactive Training Officer to provide training for a diverse cohort of workers and manage a training database (ELMO).

Healthscope Independence Services works to help people living with a disability to get the most out of life. For 28 years we have offered community and in-house support in a number of states around Australia promoting a person centred approach to support. We are a passionate team who work with people with disabilities to support them to become independent and live the lives they want to live.
What your role will look like
No two days are the same! As a Training Officer you will work within a diverse team to support a network of disability houses and services nationwide. You will be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of education and training programs.
A role with a varied scope, you work closely with Healthscope Independent Services staff the Training Officer will facilitate learning programs including induction and blueprint. You will develop and deliver a training calendar for the organisation and maintain the Elmo learning system to ensure compliance throughout the organisation.
To be successful in this role
·Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
·Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
·First Aid Certificate
·Current State/Territory Driver’s License (desirable)
·Compliance with all mandatory vaccinations as per Healthscope’s infection control guidelines
·Right to work in Australia
·An interest in the Disability field and experience within NDIS is an advantage
