Ampcontrol has a unique opportunity for a customer-centric operational leader to drive the performance and strategic growth of our NSW & QLD Field Service business.
As the Power Systems Field Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading this exciting portfolio, which is a key aspect of the company’s strategic growth agenda.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Service, the role provides operational and strategic leadership to a multi-disciplinary team across High Voltage and Underground Field Service.
This role has accountability for the strategic development, operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance with core responsibilities including:
Deliver activities supported by our Service teams that comply with the outcomes of internal HSEQ systems, site requirements, and relevant authorities.
Leadership and management of a diverse multi-disciplinary team.
Delivery and execution of operational business plans.
Deliver on financial expectations.
Delivery and execution of agreed strategic goals.
Ongoing enhancement and development of our Service offerings.
Manage the provision of technical support to Service employees and customers.
Business development for Service offerings to the market.
Collaboration with internal stakeholders (i.e. Sales and other Businesses) to expand Ampcontrol's overall offering to appropriate markets to maximize opportunities with our customers.
Development and maintenance of skills to align to the listed Service Business Units offerings with customer requirements.
Continually develop, enhance, and optimize operational systems and processes.
Support the continual growth of our Service businesses.
Supporting you in achieving the above will be the broader network of the Ampcontrol Group, its leaders, technical experts, and business systems.
ABOUT YOU:
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Operational management experience.
Proven ability to manage customer expectations and relationships delivering growth.
Financial literacy and ability to interpret financial/operational data and work to budgetary constraints.
Proven experience/ability to lead and engage cross-functional teams in field service/service delivery/project environment.
Experience in the coordination of work with HV equipment and systems.
High voltage equipment experience (advantageous).
Aptitude to drive business/operational system improvements.
Ability to embrace and drive change to suit dynamic environments.
