Rex Software develops products for the Property Industry in both regions, with thousands of customers using our CRM, digital advertising suite and site builder every day!Role Overview The Group Finance Manager at Rex Software is responsible for overseeing group reporting and consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly management and Board reporting across multiple divisions. This role leads the consolidation process, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing in-depth variance analysis to support strategic objectives. With a focus on delivering actionable insights, the Group Finance Manager translates complex financial data into clear reports for senior leaders, Potentia Capital, and the Board, directly supporting high-level decision-making. Additionally, the role involves leading annual budgeting and monthly forecasting and, during the Group Financial Controller's maternity leave, overseeing finance operations, including month-end processes and reconciliations, to maintain robust financial management across the organisation.Responsibilities Strategic Financial OversightDevelop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple divisions, supporting both short- and long-term financial planning.Work with senior leadership to set financial targets that align with the company's strategic goals, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.Support CFO and Group Financial Controller in revenue and cost management strategies, providing insight into financial planning for new product launches, market expansions, and operational improvements.Group Consolidation & ReportingLead consolidated group reporting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis to recommend actions that align with strategic objectives.Present financial performance updates to senior leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights to inform decision-making.Stakeholder ManagementServe as a key financial liaison to Potentia Capital, responding to investor inquiries and supporting in M&A activity.Support Group Financial Controller in coordinating with external auditors for year-end audits and statutory requirements.Prepare reports for the Board, Potentia Capital, and other external stakeholders, providing financial insights and highlighting key performance trends.Manage relationships with external advisors and financial institutions to align financial strategies with growth and funding needs.Financial Operations (Maternity Leave Cover)Oversee transactional accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.Ensure accuracy in month-end and year-end processes, delivering timely trial balances for review.Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring alignment with business needs and minimising financial risks.Oversee cost management and liaise with cost centre owners to ensure adherence to budget.Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or CA certification required.Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a finance management role, with strong experience in Group and Board reporting, budgeting & forecasting, within tech/saas businesses.Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting background, proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems) and Excel, with experience in financial modelling and KPI tracking.Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and drive cross-functional collaboration, focusing on business and financial objectives.Communication: Excellent written and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information.Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of change.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Group Finance Manager?How many years' experience do you have with forecasting for businesses?How many years of accounting experience do you have? #J-18808-Ljbffr
