Cheil Worldwide is a tech-driven advertising agency with a global team of over 7,000 employees, including 70+ based in Sydney, Australia. We specialise in a broad range of marketing services, including digital, events, creative, retail, and film. This role primarily focuses on working with our key client, Samsung Consumer Electronics.
Primary Function
This is a full-time role on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. Based at our Olympic Park, Sydney offices, working hours will generally be in the afternoon and evening, depending on livestream production schedules. This role drives sales by managing live production and client relationships, leading internal teams to successfully develop and execute high-quality live broadcast streaming events. With strong communication and organisational skills, this role ensures high-quality live productions and successful, results-driven initiatives that meet client expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leading the day-to-day interaction with our production team, ensuring business objectives are met.
* Project managing broadcast initiatives from inception to execution within budgetary and time parameters.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally (clients).
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to generate seamless processes and produce quality outcomes in line with our client’s strategic goals.
* Drive engagement and product sales per client brief.
* Efficiently and effectively manage time pressured amendments and changes from a wide-ranging operational and financial perspective.
* Act as a central point of contact for internal teams in the execution of the live broadcast.
* Work with various teams and departments to ensure production is produced efficiently and delivered within budget parameters, following established policies and procedures, meeting deadlines, and satisfying creative expectations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key current and prospective vendors to work through ad hoc requests as necessary.
* Manage production budget with Finance, identifying any potential budget issues and finding resolutions.
* Manage variance sign-off process - making changes to budget accordingly.
* Develop monthly reporting for management on production metrics.
* Assist in the creation of a range of production initiatives that add value to the consumer.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 10+ years of experience in producing live content in a similar environment / role.
* Exceptional communication skills, liaising with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business, with a focus on achieving operational efficiencies.
* Experience working within fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-pressured environments.
* The ability to adapt efficiently to unforeseen changes and subsequently manage stakeholder expectations from a wide-ranging operational and financial perspective.
* A strong understanding of strategic broadcast planning.
* Proven record of meeting deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality control.
* Financial acumen, with experience managing significant and complex production budgets.
