Position: Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services)
Type: Full time
You will complete a Certificate III Engineering Mechanical qualification over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and our host employer, Manildra Group.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
* Learn to operate essential machine tools, including drills, mills, and various hand and power tools
* Gain practical experience through diverse workshop duties, enhancing your technical skills
* Develop proficiency in precision machining and fabrication techniques vital for engineering tasks
* Work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive team atmosphere
* Carry out other duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:
* Show dedication to both on-site and off-site job training to enhance skills and knowledge
* Express enthusiasm towards the apprenticeship and learning opportunity
* Demonstrate ability to understand and uphold high safety standards in all tasks
* Previous experience in prioritising tasks, multitasking, and effective time management is highly desirable
Mandatory Requirements
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks - standard medical, audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity assessment.
* Drivers Licence
* WHS Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
