My global client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate or Senior Associate looking to step into a Structural Team Leader role.
This role offers an opportunity to lead a small-sized team and establish a strong market presence and client following in their Melbourne office. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving business processes, delivering on projects, managing stakeholders and clients, and achieving profitable growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a small-sized team of approximately 5-6 direct reports.
2. Establish a strong market presence and client following.
3. Manage stakeholders and clients concerned with project delivery.
4. Optimize team resources to deliver successful projects.
5. Design and document systems throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Act as Project Leader and ensure coordination between disciplines.
7. Review technical submissions and construction quality.
8. Act as a primary interface between staff and senior leaders.
9. Delegate tasks to junior engineers and drafting staff.
10. Contribute to research and development initiatives.
11. Provide on-the-job training and share knowledge with new staff.

15. Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and equivalent experience.
16. 10 + Years experience, must have last 5 years local experience minimum to utilise and lean on your network and local knowledge.
17. Well-developed understanding of relevant standards and building codes.
18. Experience in engineering and delivering projects.
19. Excellent communication skills across multiple disciplines.
20. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
