Are you passionate about making a difference by solving complex problems and working with like-minded professionals and help us improve the quality of life for citizens across health and social services sectors?
What will your typical day look like?
The Operational Transformation team (within Strategy, Risk & Transactions) works across public and private health services to support them with financial and operational performance improvement, health service planning, investment decision making, and major infrastructure projects.
Working collaboratively with other teams both locally and interstate you could be supporting financial performance and sustainability projects, funding optimisation projects with major hospital providers (utilising detailed diagnostic tools relating to the national and state activity-based funding model/s), and health service planning engagements (such as regional health and service need analysis, analysis of population and demographic data, and historic and projected activity).
As a manager you will work closely with the Partners, Directors, and other team members to win and deliver client engagements, while also managing small teams of staff to deliver those projects.
You will have extensive, detailed, working knowledge of health data sets – including (but not limited to) population and demographic data, hospital activity data sets and collections, health financial and operational performance data, and/or activity projection methodologies and data sets. You will be experienced in applying strong quantitative skills to projects and programs to develop robust financial and commercial analysis as well as the ability to present the outcomes of this analysis effectively.
You will also be supported to grow your own skills and career while being challenged to:
* Support the delivery of significant public and private engagements within the growing health and human services sector.
* Engage directly with our clients to understand and define their requirements and manage our client engagements.
* Utilise your strong financial and quantitative modelling skills to play a leading role in the delivery of client engagements spanning financial, operational, and commercial engagements.
* Develop your own skills, internal and external networks, and support business development initiatives.
* Foster a collaborative and supporting environment which encourages team members to step up and make an impact.
