Port Lincoln Health Services is looking for a dedicated and reliable Services Assistant - Orderly to help support our medical and nursing staff in providing exceptional patient care.
As an Orderly, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team by assisting with a variety of essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Transportation: Safely and courteously transport patients throughout the Health Service, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Equipment Management: Collect, deliver, and return medical equipment and supplies as needed, supporting the smooth operation of clinical activities.
Specimen Handling: Transport specimens to designated areas, maintaining proper procedures to ensure their integrity.
Linen Services: Deliver clean linen to patient areas and remove dirty linen promptly, contributing to a clean and hygienic environment.
Waste Management: Remove rubbish and other waste materials to maintain a clean and orderly environment within the facility.
What We're Looking For: A strong team player with the ability to collaborate with staff across various levels.
Flexibility in work approach and rostering to meet operational needs.
A proactive communicator with effective interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
Experience in housekeeping, catering/catering, or laundry services is highly valued.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
