About the role You will be a member of the TAFE Executive leadership team with responsibility for the effective leadership and management of the student-focused teaching and learning areas within the Centre's of Building and Construction, Service Industries and Environment and Renewable Energy and Engineering.
Reporting to the Director, Skills and Education Delivery, this position is responsible for achieving strategic and operational objectives across financial, customer, business processes and organisational capability domains.
You will: lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes for students; develop and implement strategies to increase student retention; lead and ensure compliance with ASQA standards, Skills First funding contract and qualification regulatory requirements; and manage projects with industry partners that deliver customised training solutions.
About you You will possess extensive people and change management experience in order to build high performing and accountable teams to deliver results.
You will have strong financial literacy and data analysis capability to inform decision making and drive accountability.
Additionally, advanced planning, project management and risk management capability and a strong commitment to embracing new technology is a critical part of the position.
You will possess demonstrated: ability to provide professional educational leadership in the management of a diverse group of educators; expertise in strategic planning and operational implementation; ability to lead and manage staff at a senior level, embedding a positive, safe an inclusive workplace culture; and experience and capability to apply commercial acumen to grow business and deliver on strategic and operational objectives.
