About the role: As the Administration Officer, you will work as part of the Women and Children administrative team and provides support to other administrative assistants within the Department to enable comprehensive clinical services, teaching, research, and community outreach services to be maintained. Duties will include: Liaising with the Administrative Manager to ensure appropriate patient bookings are made, Undertaking keyboard, reception duties and coordinating appointment diaries, Answering incoming telephone calls, evaluating them for urgency and redirecting to the appropriate Departmental member if available, Managing the flow of information throughout the department by ensuring an efficient mail distribution and that facsimile communications are dealt with in a timely manner. About you: Experience in an outpatient setting desirable, Pleasant, customer focused manner with an ability to empathise and respond to a diverse range of people, Demonstrated ability to be positive and adapt to change, Experience in working autonomously as well as part of a team.
