Position Overview
In this role you will be responsible for the effective running of production lines.
You will be required to apply troubleshooting techniques to maintain the smooth running of the production process and uphold the highest quality standards.
You will perform changeovers and associated administration tasks.
The post holder will complete routine QC/QA procedures and take appropriate resultant actions.

Key Responsibilities Responsible for day to day activities, ensuring lines are run in accordance to quality standardsComplete packaging activitiesStrict adherence to all quality standardsDemonstrated ability to run production linesDemonstrate technical knowledge of processesApply troubleshooting and problem solving techniques through CI tools (RCA, 5WHY ETC)Assisting with changeovers and machine set upDevelop strong team / shift communicationsAdherence to company policy and procedure at all timesEnsure the escalation protocol is adhered toComplete line sheets and maintain SIC boards (Short interval control)Manage shadow boards and Daily TPM ActivitiesUnderstand and be accountable for line performance dataComplete batch records and ensure accuracy of all relevant production documentationCompliance with GMP requirements and uphold these standardsCompliance with EHS requirements and uphold these standardsSeek and deliver CI opportunities across the siteFirst Piece inspection and line clearanceIn process checksMaterial verification and transferAccurate reconciliationMaterial management – including Pick parts, Return / Kanban, Kanban transfersEnsure own training compliance is maintainedCoaching and mentoring of team membersKey Requirements Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change quicklyMust demonstrate a sense of urgencyUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and product/process development cyclesUnderstanding of regulatory compliance issues, environmental and safety issues and regulations.Competency in various computer-based software applications (i.e.
SAP, MS Office, etc.
).Ability to accurately interpret and respond effectively to financial data.

cost standards, variance reports, etc.
)Ability to demonstrate basic technical and mechanical initiatives regarding manufacturing equipment.Fully competent in oral and written communications and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively convey Company policies and procedures.Qualifications/Education Educated to GCSE standard or relevant Vocational Qualification preferredDemonstrate an aptitude for technical / analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectivelyExperience in a manufacturing operation, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.This role will be working Monday - Thursday, 6am - 6pm
