This is a newly created role that requires a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spark.The roleWorking closely with the Executive Team, this is a key position that will work work closely with both customers and suppliers.
Specific outcomes will include:* Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and income targets* Analyse trends and identify new opportunities within assigned categories* Create category plans* Negotiate supplier terms and rebates* Analyse and prepare reports for management and members* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersAbout youExperience working within a large retail environment would be advantageous as are relevant qualifications.
This role will particularly suit someone with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment.
