The successful candidate will be supported by a strong facility and regional management team.The Services Assistant is responsible for providing a timely, efficient, and effective service, that involves the catering, laundry and cleaning of the health unit. Duties may include the preparation, service, and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping.The Services Assistant may also be required to undertake laundry duties.The successful candidate will possess the following:Cross-departmental experience (Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry) working in an aged care or health environmentHave previous food handling experience (food handling certificates a bonus!)Demonstrate a high level of empathy and compassion and including a person-centred approachDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team, be reliable and hard workingAvailability to work 7 day rotating roster (incl. weekends)The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
