About the Company Our client is a not-for-profit within the early childhood sector. About the Role As the HR Generalist, you will act as a trusted advisor within the organisation regarding the full employee lifecycle and HR policies. Supporting the HR Manager, you will provide coaching to leaders regarding Employee Relations issues and support managers and employees during any workplace disputes. You will be a HR all-rounder and have substantial experience working within a HR Function. This is a part-time opportunity, working 4 days a week. Duties As the HR Generalist, your duties will include: Employee Lifecycle - review and issue employment contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment legislature. Employee Relations - provide support through change management processes and mitigate any employee relations disputes. Coaching - provide training to leaders on how to effectively manage their team in line with HR policies. EBAs - Knowledge of EBAs and experience with EBA application and implementation. Experience leading and implementing HR projects. A sound understanding of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, DEI strategies, recruitment and talent acquisition, change management and learning & development. Skills & Experience To be a successful candidate, you will ideally have: Qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar. Experience working in a HR function as a generalist. Understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant Awards. Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills. Have full working rights in Australia. Have a Driver's License.
