It is focused on the approvals and environmental aspects of rehabilitation and closure planning at Port Waratah including the closure of two former licenced waste facilities. Key responsibilities include:Support the preparation of environmental impact assessments and approvals for both State and Federal Approvals requirementsDevelop and implement stakeholder management plans in line with Port Waratah’s engagement strategy to support approvals, closure planning and executionBuild and maintain a network of relationships and resourcesCollaborate with stakeholders on constraints and opportunitiesAssist in developing and reviewing project risksSelect and manage consultants for environmental approvals and rehabilitation projectsAssist the Senior Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling and scopeDesired Skills and Experience:What we are looking for:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science/Management or degree in another discipline combined with Approvals experienceExperience in coordination of environmental planning and approval studies including regulator and stakeholder engagementStakeholder engagement and communication skills including written and presentation skillsExperience in closure, rehabilitation, contaminated land or licensed waste management facilities is highly desirableBenefits:Competitive Remuneration, including 18.5% Superannuation and bonus programmeWork to Live Culture with 35 hour working week and generous leave entitlementsHealth and Wellbeing benefits; gym membership/on-site gyms, exercise physiologists, personal health assessments, Employee Assistance Program.For initial inquiries or assistance with your application, please call Jess O’Neill or Adrian Button from Beilby Downing Teal on (02) 4044 0400.
