The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manger, Transport to join our team in Perth. The primary focus of the role is delivering the target financial metrics (including sales and profitability) for the transport business, at the same time delivering a high-quality customer experience and contributing to a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. This will be achieved by:
1. Identifying a pipeline of opportunities within the transport market.
2. Building KBR’s external profile to position the business for pursuit of the most viable business opportunities.
3. Developing valuable client relationships and partnerships.
4. Developing strategies and execution plans for key pursuits.
5. Negotiation and execution of project contracts.
6. Overseeing the execution of projects to deliver as-bid margins.
7. Working with the Operations team to resource bids and projects.
8. People leadership that builds a successful culture.
Who are you?
To in successful in this role you require a Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or business discipline along with Extensive management experience in large/complex organisations in the Infrastructure sector and at senior levels.
The ideal candidate will actively participate in the development and implementation of KBR’s business strategies and plans for transport infrastructure in Western Australia.
Other requirements include:
9. Extensive project experience in large and complex Infrastructure projects including at steering committee / project sponsor level.
10. Significant exposure to the Infrastructure sector and Infrastructure-related projects.
11. Solid understanding of financial management and commercial drivers in a consulting business context.
12. Strong analytical skills.
13. Willingness, and ability, to travel
