Sydney Asset Management Permanent Position Purpose A leading global asset manager is seeking to hire a Senior Sales Manager into their Sydney office. The Senior Sales Manager will be key partner to the APAC Sales Leadership Team, with responsibility for Sales Management, Client Assurance, and the delivery of Sales Insight in the Region. The role will execute on work which is presently underway and drive improvements in their approach to managing sales across the APAC region. The incumbent will provide transparency, build coalitions across leaders and Relationship Managers to influence enhanced business discipline in their areas of responsibility. Principal Responsibilities Support the Head of APAC Sales Capabilities in developing, enhancing, and/or supporting the implementation of sales processes within a broader global framework inclusive of reporting sales activity, pipeline, and flows. Manage procedures to track and report sales activity, pipeline, and flows. Work closely the Head of APAC Distribution and the Sales Lead Team to set, implement and track the sales strategy for the Region. Participate in appropriate sales forums with sales leadership to drive enhanced results and support change management and accountability. Lead the delivery of analysis that explores trends in client and sales activity. Produce professional grade presentations and business intelligence for senior management, including for the use at townhalls and external events. Personal Attributes / Skills / Qualifications Minimum of 8 years’ experience within Asset Management with knowledge of different products and vehicles Prior experience in a similar sales / analysis or general management position. Previous exposure to Global and APAC working culture and multiple time zones. Interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management.
