You will provide frontline and circulation support, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care. Your duties will include maintaining the library's collections, assisting with promotional activities, and supporting community engagement initiatives. You will also be required to perform various library operations, including shelving, processing, and maintaining the library's physical spaces.As a member of the Collections Services Team, you will participate actively and positively, ensuring the highest standards of service. You will communicate courteously and effectively with all customers, providing timely and knowledgeable assistance in person, by telephone, and in writing.Your role will involve desk duties across all City of Boroondara libraries, including evenings and weekends. You will maintain a high level of customer focus, responding to needs, assisting with promotional activities, and participating in community engagement services to grow library membership and usage. You will perform a range of library operations, ensuring that library spaces and resources are well-presented and maintained.Additionally, you will manage collections, input orders for library materials, review bibliographic records, and liaise with relevant staff to manage subscriptions and source new titles.A little bit about youYou are a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to providing exceptional library and information services.
