The Role: Supporting two Partners and their team, this role requires an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. Your key responsibilities will include: Document Preparation: Drafting and formatting legal documents, including court submissions, briefs for counsel, letters of demand, affidavits, subpoenas, and more. File & Matter Management: Conducting conflict checks, opening new files, maintaining records, and archiving when necessary. Billing & Timesheets: Handling end-of-month billing, preparing client reports, processing expenses, and managing time entries. Diary & Travel Coordination: Managing complex schedules, tracking court dates and deadlines, and arranging both domestic and international travel. Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicating with clients, lawyers, barristers, and other key stakeholders. Inbox & Correspondence Management: Prioritising key communications and ensuring smooth workflow. What We’re Looking For: At least 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within Litigation (candidates from other legal sectors are welcome to apply). Strong organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication. Experience with e-filing, expenses & billing systems (knowledge of legal software such as iManage, Elite 3E, or Chrome River is a plus). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
