A new opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join an international manufacturing company in a 3 month contract.RESPONSIBILITIES:To provide purchasing (Intercompany and Outsourced) support for the Australian business by driving continuous improvement activities in the purchasing function. Key functions of the role include (but are not limited to):Ensuring goods are available in a timely manner.Collaborating with stakeholders to address timeframe of orders and ensuring an efficient transition from P2P process.KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSON PROFILE:Relevant experience in a Customer Service/ Supply Chain roleSAP working knowledge, specifically as a MRP tool, P2P ProcessHigh level of competence in Microsoft ExcelComfortable in interacting with Senior Managers
