Purpose of the Role
The role of an auxiliary firefighter is multifaceted, involving responding to emergencies, promoting community safety, and participating in training exercises.
As a member of a team, you will respond to fire and other emergency incidents, contribute to community education activities, and develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses.
You will be required to operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment, contribute to incident reporting and general station administration, and promote a positive team approach in all work activities.
