Salary: $115,899 - $130,733 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% SuperannuationLocation: Brindabella Park - ACTThe RoleThe Directorate's work includes:Dedicated support for the highest priority ASCA procurement and contracting.Commercial assurance and advice for other procurements and contract management activities.Design and delivery of procurement policies and frameworks tailored to ASCA's requirements.Coordination with Defence projects and other stakeholders to ensure rapid transition to acquisition for capabilities developed under ASCA programs.Procurement of ASCA support services and other enabling agreements.Engaging specialist advice from within and outside Defence, including price and cost analysis, probity advice and legal services as required.This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. The Directorate provides specialist procurement and commercial expertise, to develop, deliver and manage procurement and contracting, and advises on policy interpretation and its application.
