1st Year Apprentice Security Systems Technician. We are currently seeking a 1st Year Security Systems Technician Apprentice with one of our local Security companies. The successful applicant will be involved with working alongside one of the senior Security Technicians, where they will learn to install and service/maintenance of electronic security systems Alarms, CCTV and Access Control, and Intercoms and potentially cyber security exposure down the track along with fault finding. For the right candidates the potential to have extra product training is there. Successful applicants must meet the following criteria. Must be able to obtain QLD security equipment installer licenceCertificate II in Electrotechnology would be beneficialPossess a driver's licence with reliable transportPossess a yellow card (EWP) would be beneficial but not necessaryBe punctual and have a good attendance recordBe motivated and have a good attitude towards workFollow instructions well and sound problem solving skillsGood math understandingWhite card and some experience in using hand toolsAble to work safelyBe an Australian citizen or have permanent residency statusBe open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade.A genuine interest in data/security field is a must.
