About the Role:
Our client is in need of an experienced Afternoon shift Industrial Electrician to join their maintenance team to provide preventative and reactive maintenance to their manufacturing equipment along with project installation and commissioning whilst further developing your skills in PLC and SCADA programming along with effective electrical machine guarding.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all maintenance & capital work is kept up to date and performed safely.
2. To ensure all equipment & structures meet minimum legislative standards.
3. To maintain plant & equipment to a level that enables them to be effective, efficient & safe.
4. Operating mobile equipment in a safe & efficient manner.
5. Maintenance reporting
6. Complete hot works permits and risk assessments when required.
Skills and Attrtibutes Required:
7. Certificate III in Electro Technology and Electrician and/or Certificate III Electronics and
8. Communications
9. A minimum of five (5) years' trade experience.
10. MUST have manufacturing experience.
11. PLC and SCADA programming
12. Experience with automated machinery, PLCs, robotics
13. Knowledge of current electrical standards.
14. Ability to read and understand/modify electrical schematic drawings.
15. Comprehensive understanding of plant and electrical installations in an industrial environment.
16. Proven ability to problem-solve and fault-find electrical circuits.
17. Proven electrical control for effective machine guarding.
18. High level 'mechanical aptitude'
19. Excellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of our clients and the company.
20. Be able to work unsupervised and also part of the team.
21. Be productive to complete tasks within set time frames.
22. Hold a current driver's license.
