Nurse Watch Healthcare is a premium home care provider located in New South Wales and we are expanding to Queensland.We offer opportunities for our clients to live life to its full enjoyment by taking advantage and choosing from our complete menu of services.Our approach to service delivery sets us apart from other homecare providers on many levels.Our support extends to and can include family and friends.You will be responsible for providing a holistic approach to care including physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support.We are seeking AIN's, Student/Enrolled Nurses to work closely with our heroes displaying a relationship-centered approach to care by ensuring daily personal care responsibilities, light cleaning and administration assistance requirements are met.Our ideal candidate will: Be willing and able to learn new computer skills;Have a genuine interest in and respect for the unique personality, history of our wise older persons;Deliver care service as outlined in the care plans, including assistance with activities of daily living, administration, appointments and light domestic duties;Be able to complete routine documentation such as progress notes, and assist in review of care as required;Be self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously within a team environment;Maintain effective and timely communication to the customer service manager and other team members as required;Be able to supervise medication as per scope of role;Be available for a fortnightly rotating roster;Apply Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) principles through Nurse Watch's policies and procedures.You will require: Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or Certificate IV in Aged CareAt least 12 months' paid experience in aged care or previous experience in a similar roleCurrent First Aid CertificateCurrent National Policy History check (or willingness to obtain)Own reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insuranceMobile smart phone with internet accessDemonstrated nursing, experience in individual, community or aged careA passion for providing uncompromising care to our wise older personsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with an honest dispositionA compassionate, caring and supportive natureA commitment to creating a positive work culture and providing a 'can do' approach to tasksGood organisational skillsWorking towards extending nursing career – (i.e.through further education)Bring along your passion for quality care, empathy and enthusiasm and in return, we will provide you with an opportunity to build a meaningful career by expanding and developing your skills.The successful candidate must provide/ undertake a current police check with no disclosable outcomes prior to appointment.Preferred candidates will be required to complete a pre-medical questionnaire.Are you ready to make every day the best it can be?APPLY NOW!
