The Role
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for financial and management accounting, reporting and analysis, the economic stability of the company and for providing accurate and timely financial information to the business. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.
1. Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
2. Partner with the Sales team around product Cost and Sell pricing
3. Monitor & control costs against budget
4. Partner with the Supply Chain team with inventory movements
5. Manage cost of goods variance
6. Preparation of monthly information for BAS return
7. Manage the Financial periods
8. Preparation of company recharges
9. Management of cash flow
10. Process all required journal entries
11. Compile daily, weekly and monthly sales data for Management Team
12. Assist with preparation of Group EOY Financial Reports
13. Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly Financial Accounts for parent company
14. Assist in the EOY external audit process and assist in transfer pricing documentation
15. Ad-hoc duties or finance team projects as required
The Candidate
Collegial in your style, you will play an integral role in driving the high-performance culture of the finance function. You will be technically strong finance professional with exceptional communication skills that will compliment your talent for interpreting and articulating complex financial information. Previous experience Big4 or Mid-tire External Audit or from Retail, FMCG or Consumer goods environments will be advantageous but are not essential.
