We're seeking skilled tradespeople to join our team of over 22 professionals in a hands-on role preparing structural carpentry walls, crafting quality display vitrines, and contributing to shopfitter installations under the guidance of our Workshop Manager.
PLEASE NOTE: multiple positions are available.
Your experience and qualifications will determine the pay point for each position.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The position is required to work within a team of over 22 tradespeople to perform a key hands-on role in the preparation of a range of structural carpentry walls, produce original and quality structures and vitrines, helping on display cabinetry construction and shopfitter installation, under the supervision of the Workshop Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
You will possess a relevant trade qualification (Certificate II; III or equivalent) and demonstrate relevant industry experience including Carpenter / Cabinetmaker / Shopfitter / Painter / Plaster.
You apply your skills gained from a trade qualification to achieve outcomes within quality controls.
The applicant must be willing to adapt to a flexible working arrangement, in which weekend and evening work will be required.
Labourers with tools-on and construction experience without the above qualifications are also welcome to apply.
Benefits
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Teatime 10:00 to 10:20.
Lunch 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Overtime: weekend and after 6:00 pm available.
This is not compulsory and under staff acceptance.
Secure parking available under the building.
Free parking at the premises for motorbike and pushbike.
You will work in the art of Brisbane, inside a climate-controlled building with a full workshop machinery park.
Tools and PPE will be supplied and you will be initiated to WHS induction.

Job Summary
A key hands-on role in the preparation of a range of carpentry, cabinet making and shopfitter projects in the Event/Art challenging environment.
Walls frame, cabinetry, display vitrines and risers, design installation & others challenging structural construction.
