This is an exciting opportunity for a results focused sales professional who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and advice in a high end retail environment.
As the Assistant Store Manager you will be the leader of our sales team dealing with the general public, as well as interior designers, architects and builders. You will ensure the team provides a superior customer service, as well as being involved in selection consultations and previews. You will engage our customers with enthusiasm and always maintain an impeccable sense of professionalism and style.
Your role is diverse, ensuring customer satisfaction is excellent and to support the Store Manager ensuring Sales and Margin targets are met and exceeded. You will have the joy of leading and coaching the store’s sales team to perform at an elite level that makes you proud to be their leader. You will also inspire our customers with an outstanding experience every time.
Reporting to the Store Manager, your day to day work will focus on the success of the store through activities such as face to face sales, coaching, assisting in business planning, cultivating business relationships, team development and enhancing the overall look of the store.
To be a successful in this role you will need the following:
5. Previous experience in a similar role (team leadership or assistant management role)
6. Industry related experience (flooring, hardware, building or similar) will be highly regarded
7. Strong retail, sales and service skills
8. Proven ability achieving and exceeding team sales targets
9. Experience in motivating and developing a sales team
10. Superior communication skills at all levels with the ability to engage others
11. A desire for personal growth and achievement
12. A competitive nature and desire to win
13. Tech savvy
