GenesisCare is seeking a Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to join their team at the Southport Clinic.
About the Role
This position plays a critical role in a patient's cancer journey, serving as their first point of contact. The successful candidate will work across various workstations in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide efficient administrative support with customer focus as the top priority.
* Act as the primary point of contact for patients and deliver exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Adapt to and manage an environment with ongoing change and competing priorities.
* Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations.
* Billing and receipting at time of appointment.
* Accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry.
* Ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
* Continuously liaise with the team to ensure efficient processes.
* Manage patient records and filing of patient notes.

* Has demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
* Possesses strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Has proven experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
* Has exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
* Has high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
