Focused Facilities Management based in North Melbourne is looking to employ a Civil Engineering Technician to join their team Salary $73,500 Superannuation To be considered for this opportunity you will have: 1. Australian or equivalent Advance Diploma in Engineering with Civil – with field of Building & Structural Engineering 2. A minimum of 3 year’s experience in Engineering of which atleast 2 years must be with an Australian Company. 3. Experience of working in a Facilities Management Environment will be preferred Duties & Responsibilities preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems for residential and commercial developments. Assists in the establishment, evaluation, implementation and review of Maintenance Service policies and procedures, aiming for ‘best practice’, under the direction of the Engineering Manager, consistently follows organizational and Maintenance Service policies and procedures. performing and directing fieldwork and laboratory testing Use asset management system (CMMS- MEX) to receive requests, issue, control, and report on works while maintaining the history of work orders for properties and buildings. This also includes this includes electronic filing of service contracts, internal work policies & procedures, invoices, service reports, delivery dockets, asset register etc in MEX (CMMS) whilst retaining historical information. Assist the Engineering Manager with Document controlling, handling and record keeping ensuring that all documents remain current and are aligned with Client’s service requirements., such as electronic filing of contracts, policies & procedures, invoices, service reports, delivery dockets etc. collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions inspecting civil engineering works, and organising and supervising maintenance and repair work This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to advance their career with an organisation that is truly committed to ongoing development and success.
