We are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses to provide the efficient and effective delivery of professional nursing care and support to customers. Our Registered Nurses provide effective leadership, supervision, and clinical support to our people where necessary.

Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Completing and maintaining relevant Assessments and Care Plans in line with Clients' needs.
2. Working under the guidance and supervision of medical practitioners, working with allied health professionals, monitoring and communicating the customer’s condition, and other health and wellness related activities.
3. Demonstrating a commitment to best practice, ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, and legislative requirements.
4. Monitoring and communicating on the customer’s wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers.
5. Providing training, coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals, Enrolled Nurses and Support Staff/Case Managers as required.
6. Travelling between customer’s homes and providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioner’s directions.
7. Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care i.e. palliative care, bowel care/suppositories, catheter care, stoma care, oxygen and more.
8. Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required.
About you:
1. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
2. Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work as part of a team.
4. Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile devices) for accessing rosters & recording customer assessments & documenting feedback.
What you will need:
1. Current Registered Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Evidence of continued professional development.
3. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check.
4. Current CPR / First Aid Certificate.
5. Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
6. Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred).
7. Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector (preferred).
8. Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
