Whether you have recently finished school, currently studying, already in the workforce or you have no experience at all, you'll be paid from day one. You'll gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job training and receive nationally accredited forklift training.
As a Warehouse Storeperson Submariner (known in the Navy as Maritime Logistics Supply Chain Submariner), you’ll ensure that vital supplies like equipment, provisions and spare parts get to where your team needs them onboard the submarine and at shore. Your day can vary from managing the logistics of supplies to driving the submarine and assisting with patrolling ocean waters.
Your duties include, but aren’t limited to:
1. Issuing equipment and machinery, including electronic, medical, clothing, furniture and hardware
2. Forklift driving
3. Handling, storing and distributing dangerous and hazardous goods
4. Submarine driving
5. Storeroom duties, including security, delivery and maintenance
6. Humanitarian aid and disaster relief
7. Maintaining stock control and account balances on inventory management systems
8. Preserving and stowing equipment and products
9. Stocktaking
10. Clerical duties and data entry
11. Financial accounting of inventory
12. Purchasing products
